Claire Daves

Hi, welcome to my page! My name is Claire Daves, I am a December 2023 Graduate of the Fashion and Textile Management department at North Carolina State University Wilson College of Textiles. I graduated with honors specializing in Product Management and Fashion Development as well as a Minor in Business Administration. I can be described as creative, business-savvy and an overall adaptable person!

I am an identical twin and ever since I was little I have always distinguished myself through style and fashion. My love for fashion and business began to grow in High School when I started my own thrift flip business on Depop.  I maintained a five star rating and a 400% profit margin running my own business. I continued my passion throughout college getting adapted to CAD software, new sewing techniques and machines while simultaneously taking business classes. I have passion around styling that I was able to embrace as a member of NCSU's student run magazine- PLATFORM  as a Lead Style consultant. I also enjoyed volunteering with other students for 2 consecutive years at the THREADS showcase, making sure the runway ran smoothly and pieces were shown correctly. One of my top values is sustainability which I was able to volunteer for through a program called Eco-Village and Greater Good Textile Group. I worked full time throughout college in customer service to fund an education that fueled my creative and business passions.

I am now located in Boulder, Colorado to be close to family and to challenge me in a creative and new environment. I am eager to jump into this industry and further my achievements.
